We are delighted to announce our membership of the British Aggregates Association.

Since its formation in 1999, the association has developed extensive contacts within the UK Government and devolved administrations, the Civil Service and in Europe.

Every year the quarry industry supports the building of 180,000 homes, maintenance of 230,000 road 10,000 mile rail networks.  The group supports the frontline quarry industry along with its essential suppliers and specialist consultants.

Our commercial director, Stephen Gosnay, commented on joining the group, “The British Aggregates Association is a nationally recognised group who strive to support their members and the quarry industry and we’re delighted to be a part of this membership group.

For hundreds of years quarrying has been an integral part of our industrial heritage, today there are still some 230 independent businesses that generate thousands of jobs all over the country.

The transport industry is an integral part of the sector therefore our membership group will help us to keep up to date with the industry and give us the opportunity to network and liaise with fellow member companies and employees.”
